The aim of this facet of Imaad is to initiate mechanisms for regular communication and the expansion of Islamic knowledge among muslims in the community. Our aims are to help to increase our Islamic knowledge in a practical sense when living in a non-muslim environment. And through an increase in knowledge to strengthen our identity as muslims.

We aim to do this in association with the Reading University Islamic Society which have an established society within the University. Imaad joining with the University Islamic Society will create a group which is more permanent and community based as well as taking benefit from the dynamic university community with large numbers of muslim students.

This will be done through talks, seminars and study circles. The topics covered will include:

The aim of the events is to be as current and dynamic as possible. They are aimed to be topics which are relevant to everyday life as well as topics to increase our understanding of Islamic philosophy of everyday life. In our events we will aim to provide as much time for questions and answers. We aim to promote a conducive environment to debate and discussion to bring progress in our thoughts.
