Event Review
The event was a highly inspiring lecture on Islamic art and architecture. As well as being informative the lecturer conveyed an intense feeling of the sentiments and forms of expression behind Islamic art. The lecture was illustrated by a diverse selection of slides showing the expansive forms of Islamic art as well as the minute attention to detail.

There was an opportunity for attendees to ask questions at the end of the lecture and also to speak to Dr Al-Khemir at a small reception after the event. Based on the success of this event we will look into the possibility of holding subsequent events on this topic and will investigate the possibility of setting up a Islamic arts course with further education colleges in Reading.

Venue
Concert Hall, Reading Town Hall, Reading. (Click here for Map to Town Hall).
