Event Review
The event aimed to offer an evening of entertainment and celebration with
a difference. Much effort went into planning the layout of the hall and
in creating a relaxed warm and friendly environment, with soft lighting
and candles. Guests were given a warm welcome with drinks and nibbles.
The childrens corner offered something for all, from biscuit decorating,
painting and colouring, group games to mendhi and hair braiding for some
of the older girls. Following the meal many women joined in with some
folk songs with various audience members playing the dholki. The evening
drew to a close at 9.00pm with all guests leaving with a small Eid gift.
This was truly a successful event with much positive feed back from those
who attended.
Thank you also to all those who supported and attended the event.
